With Christmas right around the corner, the holiday spirit has begun to fill almost every house we know!  It is that time of year to remember what is most important like family, friends and our health.  Although somehow those important things seem to get overshadowed by the hustle and bustle of house guests, cleaning, cooking and gift giving.  No matter how many times we tell ourselves to take a deep breath, we still allow the stress of the holiday season to overcome us.  We always vow to begin our shopping and cleaning earlier than the last but there always seems to be something else leaving us overwhelmed.  There are very few people who actually plan ahead and find themselves stress free when the house guests arrive.  Wouldn’t that be nice! So with that being said take a deep breath and try something new this year.

With no way to get around the necessary cleaning and shopping lists it does not mean you have to tackle the large projects you have wanted to do since last Thanksgiving!  If a closet or pantry is unorganized at the moment, than it has probably been that way for a while.  So don’t add to your holiday stress now, instead, take inventory of what you do have and what is not working.  Between house guests, hosting parties and holiday decorations, you will be using every inch of your home.  This will enable you to really evaluate your organizational needs and put together a list of items that you need and want.  For once, maybe you will enjoy the holidays, not get stressed and have a “spring cleaning” project to tackle once the holiday rush is gone.  Now look who is planning ahead!
